Terms of service

By using BrainTally, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

BrainTally provides a cognitive assessment for informational and entertainment purposes. It is not a clinical or diagnostic tool, and results should not be used as the basis for medical, educational, or employment decisions.

Accounts and payment

Some features require a paid membership. Memberships start with a 7-day trial at $1.99, giving you full access to your category breakdown, certificate, and other premium features. The trial price, length, and the recurring price that follows are always shown before you pay.

Trial-to-membership conversion

If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before your trial ends, you agree to be automatically charged $19.95 for a recurring monthly membership. We send you an email when your trial starts confirming the trial terms, the upcoming charge amount and date, and how to cancel, so this conversion is never a surprise.

Auto-renewal

Once active, your membership renews automatically each month at the recurring price until you cancel — you do not need to take any action to keep your access, and we do not ask you to re-purchase each period. If we ever change the recurring price or billing interval, we will notify you in advance of the change taking effect on your next renewal.

Cancelling

You can cancel your trial or membership at any time, free of charge, from your account page — no need to contact us. Cancelling stops all future charges; you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for, with no partial refund for the remaining days. Cancel at least 24 hours before your trial ends or your next renewal date to avoid that charge. See our Refund policy for how refunds are handled.

Your right to cancel under consumer law

Nothing here limits any statutory cancellation or cooling-off rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your country or region — for example, a right to cancel a contract for digital content within a set period after purchase. Where those rights apply and conflict with the trial/membership terms above, your statutory rights take priority.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or share your account access with others in a way that circumvents billing.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service means you accept the changes.
